Thanks to determined work by our current Treasurer, Stacey M., Elderflower Womenspirit Festival has been reinstated as a 501(c)(3) status in March 2024. Thanks also go to Willowbrook for her encouragement and advice.
In early 2025, the IRS granted Elderflower status as a “Public Charity” organization. This opens the door for us to receive employer donation matching funds and other benefits. We are still working out the kinks with that as the IRS table still shows us as a “Foundation”.
Official non-profit status was originally obtained in 2017 due to Grace W.’s effort. Visit our Herstory page for more information about the development of the festival.
