The Wish Net - NEW
The Bead Exchange - Returns
Heather and other Volunteers
The Bead Exchange is Back!
Bring 45-50 beads in a bag with your name on them and leave them in the basket on the table in the Dining Hall at sometime early in the festival. On Saturday night, there will be a new bag in the basket with your name on it and in it will be a wonderful collection of one bead from everyone who attended (and donated beads) this year. It’s a fun way to give and receive beads and then create a memento of Elderflower 2025!
Once Upon a Time
Emcee Kathleen
Barefoot Meditation Path
A path, leading from the foot of the bridge by the Ancestor Altar to the trail that leads to the Fire Circle (about 100 yards), will be swept clean of all debris, rocks, sticks and other detritus. You may safely walk this path barefoot, and commune with the trees, and the Goddess.
The Resource Sharing Table
This is an opportunity for everyone to share pieces of wisdom, inspirational messages, magic tips, and experience with their sisters.
We will set up a table outside the Dining Hall, with a big bulletin board and some index cards. This is where we will share books (to show and tell, not to give away), items, cards, memes, etc. The cards may have more recommendations of more books, music, even movies, crafts or rituals. The goal is to let other women see what has helped each of us on our magical journey.
Cardinal Direction Shrines
This year we will again be setting up altars near the Assembly Area, in all four cardinal directions. These will have a banner above them, and a yoga mat to sit on, if you would like to meditate with the element. These will be accessible to all, and you may visit with friends or by yourself.
Each altar will have items pertaining to their Cardinal direction. For Elderflower purposes: East = Air, South = Fire, West = Water, and North = Earth. Please feel free to place your own objects on the shrines.
And remember to pick them up on Saturday evening before heading to your cabin!
Goddess Altar - Dining Hall Eastern Hearth
The fireplace on the right side of the Dining Hall will be designated as a permanent altar to the Goddess, for the duration of the festival. We will place a few items out to inspire you; please feel free to place your own offerings and sacred items on this altar (plan to pick them up again by Sunday morning). You may visit by yourself, for quiet time with Her, or with friends for group blessings.

2025 Workshops
Note: The below list was ordered by day and approximate time.
The schedule of workshops when posted on the website is always tentative and subject to change.
Orientation and Reintroduction to Elderflower - Council - Wed eve. and Thu PM
This workshop will be offered twice: Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon.
Whether it’s your first time at Elderflower, or you have been here for 20 years, this workshop is open to you. Different members of the Core Council will introduce the various traditions and tenets of the festival, some history, and some guidelines for navigating the festival.
Led by members of the volunteer staff and Core Council
Stitch and Witch – Heather – Thur and Fri AM
It’s an age old tradition for women to sit together and talk while they craft.
Bring your knitting, crocheting, mending, hand quilting, or any hand craft you are working on.
Crone Pre-Ritual Preparation – Faye – Thu AM
This is an essential step toward Cronehood. Any woman 56 years or older who wishes to be Croned at Elderflower should attend this workshop. There will be a discussion of what being a Crone means.
The Crone Ritual will be held on Friday afternoon. See sponsored events above for more information.
All Space Is Here: The Spiritual and Embodied Effects of Virtual Rituals and Meetings – Darien – Thu PM
How does it affect us to participate in virtual rituals and meetings? In certain magical principles, the assumption is that, in magical work, all space is here. But acting on that may require initiation into more “advanced” magical work. In our daily lives, many of us participate in virtual meetings and even rituals: How does such remote participation affect our experience?
This workshop will explore this question — focusing on the magical / spiritual, yet also raising questions about the difference, in our bodies, between in-person and virtual work. I invite each person’s contributions, based on their experience and other knowledge. My qualifications are simply extensive zoom experience, in both meetings and rituals.
Intention Talismans – Shanda – Thu AM
Come sit with us as we write up our intentions and turn them into talismans. This simple, yet impactful, craft is a wonderful way to set your intentions and carry them with you long after you have departed this workshop.
Deep Chanting for Opening and Grounding – Denise – Thur PM
Bring a yoga mat and towel or bolster.
In this workshop, we’ll begin with some gentle asana (physical activities) to tune and prepare our bodies, and then we’ll do a focused study of chanting Sanskrit* vowel sounds as they relate to various areas and energy centers (Chakras) of the body. I find that this particular chanting practice greatly enhances my ritual and spell work as it prepares me to be powerfully open and grounded, and I often do this practice with my other witchy friends. I also practice this chant in my daily life when I feel stress, or before I enter a challenging situation. Please note that there is no denomination or specific deity associated with this chanting practice. That said, I find this practice to be an extremely spiritually connective activity, especially when practiced with others. These sounds are ancient, magic, and holy. And our bodies know.
*It may be common knowledge, but just in case it’s not: Sanskrit is an ancient language, basically on par chronologically with Mycenaean Greek, and much older than Classical Latin or Ancient Greek. It’s also a Classical language, and is the sacred language of Hinduism, the language of classical Hindu philosophy, and of historical texts of Buddhism and Jainism.
Elderflower General Member Meeting – Thu After Dinner
This is a short meeting held every year. The current Core Council reports the festival’s business status and shares the latest news. Every year we read and analyze the feedback forms and make changes where we can. We look forward to hearing from Festival attendees. Come let your voice be heard. We also recruit volunteers for next year’s festival.
Making Fairy Crowns in the Woods – Shanda – Fri AM
Come sit for a spell and weave some floral magic. Get creative, embrace your woodland spirit. Make a fairy crown for dances, rituals or just fun. All materials provided.
Truth Circle – Joy – Thu PM and Fri AM
This workshop is part of the EPN track, and is open to ALL Elderflower women.
You are invited to a ritual of telling our personal and individual Truth. Maidens,
mothers, crones, amazons, and all community members, including those coming to Elderflower for the first time – come to share about your experience of sisterhood.
Come with us to Remember how our hearts have been moved to joy & connection,
and to envision dreams of what we could create together.
Join us for this new process, attend both Thursday and/or Friday afternoon for an intimate listening circle while sisters respond Truthfully to questions posed by the facilitator.
In the Truth Circle we will co-create a safe container to hold space for individual
Truths. What medicine can be brewed when we open & speak with honesty
from the heart? The aim is simply to Let Truth Move. When Truth moves, it moves us.
We will hold the circle free of accusation, insult or offering our solutions….
What This Truth Circle Seeks
When we are giving voice to our true experience, Goddess can inspire us into creative solutions, into hearing one another, into conversations & insights. This is a circle to re-calibrate our compasses. By choosing to speak about joys and insights, heartbreak and fear … or give our pain a name, and by choosing to witness one another’s Truth – we can realign. We can see our shared desires for our community and where we may need to agree to work together at something. We get to know each other really.
Attend to invest in Elderflower, to invest in yourself and your sisters, to cultivate Truth evermore.
This Circle will be respectfully moderated. Shares are received & are not rebutted. All participants will have an equal amount of time to share. Everyone who attends is asked to participate. All are invited to attend. All shares are heard.
What You Offer
Courage plus –
One heart. One mouth.
This is an activity of the felt sense – not the intellect.
Our Goal and Our Restrictions
The goal is to unpack – to open, that Goddess can transmutate & reorganize. This is a place for coming and hearing together – not for conflict. We aren’t fighting or creating new wounds.
Intensity
Yes – it may be intense to hear a truth that conflicts with your own. Attend to
see how human we are & to learn how to love what you don’t identify with.

The Elements Series: Water – CopperJet – Fri PM
How to Summon your Inner Creatrix – Leora – Fri PM
Bring watercolor supplies and brushes from home
There is a Zimbabwe phrase that says if you can walk, you can dance; if you can talk, you can sing and I’m going to add if you can dream even when you don’t remember it, you are already tapping into your inner Creatrix.
We walk around thinking that our creativity is limited it isn’t. The first step to becoming a Creatrix is to get over the fear of doing something imperfectly
If you are scared to even start, this is the workshop for you
if you already do art it’s a good way to have fun
Art is like any muscle. It takes a little time to get used to the activity and then it becomes muscle memory and you do it automatically. The best part about doing it automatically is tapping into the Goddess so that when you’re done with your art, writing and MUSIC, you know, You did not Create it, but SHE did.
Manifesting, Magick, & Emotions: the mind, body, spirit connection - Annie – Sat PM
Whether you call it magick, manifesting, spirituality, or witchcraft, the key is understanding the As Above So Below principle, the mind body spirit connection. This beginner friendly intro into next level teachings, also known as the Mesoteric teachings, will include a talk, meditation, and Q&A time.
Introduction to Sympathetic Magic using Candles – CopperJet– Sat AM
This workshop is part of the EPN track, and is open to ALL Elderflower women.
After you have recognized and Thought about what you want to Change, you have Decided to take a leap and Dare to reach for your goal. Then what? How do you prepare and take action to Manifest your spell? We will discuss one of the simplest and least expensive ways to practice sympathetic magic by using a candle to focus your goal/intention. How to choose and dedicate the candle, how to prepare (dress) and anoint the candle for your ritual.
Yoga for Pelvic Floor Health for Women, an introduction – Denise – Sat AM
Bring a yoga mat, and a blanket if you wish. No yoga experience required. Asana (physical poses) will be subtle to fairly gentle. Intensity level 5 due to the serious nature of the topic and to the level of information studied. (Lots of anatomy, for example.) Requires focus. Also, the emotional and psychic nature of tuning deeper into the root area of the body can be intense for some women.
Crone Gathering – Faye – Sat PM
Crone Gathering – Faye – Sat PM
Open to all initiated Elderflower Crones. Attendance is recommended. Topics will include what roles and services Crones wish to offer the EWF Community.
Body Wisdom, Movement Magic & Play – Elise & Serena – Sat PM
Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and a journal.
Let your body lead the way through intuitive movement, play, and embodied exploration. In this workshop, you’ll follow your depth into inner truth, opening a connection to the creative knowingness held within your body. Through gentle facilitation inspired by Authentic Movement and Active Imagination, we will invite the Goddess within to move, express, and guide you. Trust yourself and the sisters around you as we witness and mirror each other in our depths.
Serena and Elise are both licensed therapists and long-time movers, dancers, and swimmers of Divine Consciousness. Options will be offered for all levels of mobility, and support is available if you feel emotionally overwhelmed.
Please come with an open heart and willingness to connect deeply with yourself and others. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle, ground cloth or chair, and journal.
Leave feeling more attuned to your body’s wisdom, creatively inspired, and deeply connected to yourself and the sisterhood around you.

We laugh and get exercise and have a lot of fun! If you have a glove and want to play please bring it.
Spirit Drum Journey Circle – CopperJet – Sat PM
Bring a drum or rattle, a blanket, and an eye cover.
In the context of a circle, we will raise energy to call our power animals and journey to the sound of the drum. The energy-raising is participatory. Come ready to assist with drumming, singing songs to unify the group and raising individual and group energy. The sound of the drum induces a special state of consciousness, which allows each woman to travel to non-ordinary reality where anyone can access information unavailable to conscious thought in normal waking reality. For those new to journeying: meet your power animal and get to know the ways of the ‘lower world’. For experienced journeyers, sing your power song, play with your power animal or meet a new one; visit your teachers; ask a question for yourself or another. Sharing your experience after is encouraged, but not required.
