Our Purpose

To create a festival for women and girls with a focus on earth-based spirituality and honoring the feminine through the Goddess. We celebrate our spirituality by sharing knowledge, music, arts and ritual. Elderflower is committed to providing a welcoming and empowering environment for all women, including older women, women of all colors, from all cultures, women of all sexual orientations, differently-abled women, women in recovery, and limited income women.

Elderflower is ...

a Women's Spirituality Festival,
August 12 - 15, 2010,
in the Mendocino Woodlands of northern California,
celebrating her 21st year,
activities to empower women and celebrate our diversity,
ritual celebrating the Goddess, and the sacredness of nature,
a grass roots volunteer effort,
an experiment in consensus planning,
a participatory spiritual experience,
a time and place for healing and growth,
and a burgeoning community.

At Elderflower you can ...

relax and enjoy cabin or tent camping in a redwood forest by a creek at Mendocino Woodlands - Camp Two while savoring gourmet catered vegetarian-friendly meals and hot showers. The camp features clean and sober, quiet, and unrestricted areas as well as a a girls' cabin and a cabin for women with mobility challenges.

Elderflower welcomes all women and girls age 11 and older. Girls aged 11-18 must be accompanied by an adult and have the option of staying in a girls' cabin.

At Elderflower each participant is encouraged to bring her unique talents and express her diversity to the festival by leading and participating in rituals and workshops.

Under the umbrella of Association for the Integration of the Whole Person (AIWP), festival attendees and benefactors of the festival may make tax-deductible donations. Elderflower is congregation of the AIWP. This umbrella relationship makes Elderflower a non-profit, public benefit, religious organization, IRS designation 501(c)(3).
